Logistics & Trading Terms

The commercial terms we work to on every cement shipment. Anything here can be adjusted by agreement — tell us what your operation needs.

Minimum Order Quantity: 1 × 20 ft container (approx. 25 MT) bagged. 500 MT minimum for bulk vessel. Trial quantities available for qualification.
Packaging: Bulk, 1.5 MT jumbo bags, or 30 × 50 kg PP/paper bags loaded inside a jumbo bag for faster loading and discharge. Bulk vessel loading for tonnages above 25,000 MT.
Incoterms & Loading Ports: EXW, FOB, CFR and CIF (Incoterms® 2020). Standard loading at Bandar Abbas and Bandar Imam Khomeini; other ports by arrangement.
Quality Certification: Batch-specific mill certificate with every shipment covering the full chemical analysis and physical tests. SGS / Bureau Veritas inspection at buyer’s cost.
Lead Time: 7–14 days for standard grades after order confirmation; 15–25 days for custom-milled or specially packed material.
Storage & Handling: Store in a dry, covered warehouse, bags off the ground and away from walls. Cement absorbs atmospheric moisture, which causes lump formation and progressive strength loss. Use within 3 months of production for full rated strength; shelf life is nominally 6 months in sealed bags under dry storage.

Certificate of Analysis

A batch-specific CoA is issued with every shipment. Third-party inspection by SGS, Bureau Veritas or an inspector of your choice can be arranged at the buyer’s cost.

Common questions from construction and oilfield buyers sourcing cement in bulk.

What is the minimum order quantity for cement?

Our standard MOQ is one 20 ft container (approximately 25 MT) for bagged cement. For bulk vessel shipments the minimum is 500 MT. Trial and sample quantities can be arranged so you can qualify the material before committing to a full order.

Which Incoterms do you trade cement under?

We quote EXW, FOB, CFR and CIF under Incoterms® 2020. Most export orders ship FOB Bandar Abbas or FOB Bandar Imam Khomeini, with CFR and CIF available to most destination ports on request. Overland delivery to regional borders can also be arranged.

Do you issue a mill test certificate?

Yes. A batch-specific mill certificate accompanies every shipment with the full chemical analysis and physical test results measured against the acceptance limits of the relevant standard. Third-party inspection by SGS, Bureau Veritas or an inspector of your choice can be arranged at the buyer’s cost.

What packaging is available for cement?

Three options. Bulk in 1.5 MT jumbo bags, either containerised or loaded direct to vessel. 30 × 50 kg PP or paper bags loaded inside a jumbo bag, which speeds up loading and discharge considerably. Or straight bulk for tonnages above 25,000 MT, which is the cheapest per tonne once the volume justifies it.

How long can cement be stored before use?

In sealed bags under dry, covered storage, nominally 6 months — but use within 3 months of production if you need full rated strength. Cement takes up atmospheric moisture, which causes lumping and progressive strength loss. Keep bags off the ground and away from external walls.

What is the difference between Type I and Type II cement?

Tricalcium aluminate content. Type II holds C₃A lower — 6.4% against 7.2% on our Type I-425 — which gives moderate resistance to sulfate attack and generates less heat during hydration. Use Type II where concrete is cast against sulfate-bearing soil or groundwater, and in mass pours where thermal cracking is a risk.
