Sulphur Supplier & Exporter — Granular and Refinery Grade Sulfur
S Elemental Sulphur · Purity 99.5 – 99.7%
Bright-yellow elemental sulphur in two grades: granular at 99.5% minimum purity screened 90% into the 2–6 mm band, and refinery sulphur at 99.7% minimum. Both are commercially free of arsenic, selenium and tellurium, tested to BS 4113 and ISO methods, and shipped with a batch-specific Certificate of Analysis.

Grades & Chemical Analysis
Two grades off the same sour-gas and refinery desulphurisation route. Granular is the export form, screened and dust-controlled for bulk handling; refinery grade is the higher-assay material. Select a grade to view its full analysis.

Values are the acceptance limits carried on the batch certificate. Purity is reported on a dry basis, so a cargo with 0.5% moisture still assays against the same 99.50% figure. A batch-specific CoA is issued per shipment.
Granular Sulphur — Size Distribution
Screening governs dust, and dust governs both the fire risk and the handling loss. The granular grade is cut to keep the fine fraction under control.
| Screen Fraction | Role | Specification |
|---|---|---|
| 2 – 6 mm | Main fraction | Min 90% |
| > 6.0 mm | Oversize | Max 10% |
| < 2.0 mm | Fines | Max 10% |
Screened to ISO 8397. Sulphur dust forms an explosive mixture with air, so keeping the sub-2 mm fraction down is a safety specification as much as a commercial one.

Applications
Around nine tenths of all sulphur produced becomes sulphuric acid, and most of that acid becomes phosphate fertilizer. The rest spreads very widely.
Sulphuric Acid
The dominant outlet — feedstock for the contact process.
Phosphate Fertilizers
Acidulation of rock phosphate into DAP, MAP and TSP.
Sulphur Bentonite Fertilizer
Pastilled 90/10 with bentonite for soil sulphur correction.
Rubber Vulcanization
Crosslinking agent in tyre and technical rubber compounds.
Agrochemicals & Fungicides
Wettable and dusting sulphur for orchards and vines.
Mining & Metal Leaching
Acid generation for copper, nickel and uranium leach circuits.
Pulp & Paper
Sulphite and kraft pulping chemicals.
Sulphur Concrete & Asphalt
Acid-resistant binder for industrial flooring and paving.
Pharmaceuticals & Cosmetics
Dermatological preparations and specialty chemicals.
Packaging, Logistics & Trading Terms
How we screen, bag, certify and ship sulphur. Terms can be adapted by agreement — tell us what your operation needs.
- Minimum Order Quantity
- 1 × 20 ft container (approx. 25 MT) bagged. 500 MT minimum for bulk vessel. Trial quantities available for qualification.
- Packaging
- 25 kg and 50 kg PP bags, 1–1.5 MT woven jumbo bags, or bulk vessel. Bulk shipments are loaded to keep the fines fraction and dust generation down.
- Incoterms & Loading Ports
- EXW, FOB, CFR and CIF (Incoterms® 2020). Standard loading at Bandar Abbas and Bandar Imam Khomeini; other ports by arrangement.
- Quality Certification
- Batch-specific CoA with every shipment covering purity on a dry basis, ash, moisture, hydrocarbons, acidity and screen analysis to BS 4113 and ISO methods. SGS / Bureau Veritas inspection at buyer’s cost.
- Lead Time
- 7–14 days for standard grades after order confirmation; 15–25 days for custom-milled or specially packed material.
- Storage & Handling
- Store in a dry, well-ventilated area away from oxidising agents, strong bases and all ignition sources. Sulphur is combustible and its dust forms an explosive mixture with air, so avoid generating dust during transfer, earth handling equipment and keep drop heights short. Wet sulphur is corrosive to steel. A Safety Data Sheet ships with every consignment.
Certificate of Analysis
A batch-specific CoA is issued with every shipment. Third-party inspection by SGS, Bureau Veritas or an inspector of your choice can be arranged at the buyer’s cost.
